Books That Are Helping Me Live Not On Autopilot

I'm Lisa 👋 Welcome to the latest edition of A Little More Conscious.

Hey 👋
Happy Friday 🙂
I've gone through a lot of life experiences (and therapy) that have made me feel infinitely curious about:
Understanding myself better
Understanding what belonging really means
How other people operate and what we can learn from each other
“The bigger picture”, collective intelligence, and spirituality
This has led to a lot of reading over the past few years and I thought I'd share some of my favourite books with you, in addition to asking for what you’d add to this list.
Reply to this email to let me know - I’d like to assemble a shared “Conscious Reading List” that aggregates these recommendations in a curated and organized way.
To me, “conscious books” are books that contain thoughts, ideas and stories that have reframed how I perceive myself and others and the world and our place in it.
They have made me think through decisions differently, approach relationships differently, and approach life differently.
But, more than anything, they've helped me learn how to love myself more (still a WIP) and have helped me to take practical steps to live more consciously - to make sure my life is no longer on autopilot and lived with intent.
Huge thank you to my friends near and far who suggested many of these books 🙏
